- Non of this is real. It is a space made out of memories and imagination, where interior and exterior interacts by creating a diverse reality. I am interested in a moment where representation meets abstraction. I chose recognizable objects to create a sense of presence and personhood.

My space is made out of memories, experiences and fantasies. Some subjects are
fragments from my past in Lithuania, some are visualizations of places that moved me, other
areas are intuitively improvised. I am creating a space which doesn’t exist, but it is charged with feeling. I hope the viewer can live the vicarious experience.

My space is made out of memories, experiences and fantasies. Some subjects are fragments from my past in Lithuania, some are visualizations of places that moved me, other areas are intuitively improvised leading by a sense of presence. None of the objects are fully representational, because they came out of flashbacks or are imaginative. I am creating a space which doesn’t exist, but my goal is to convince the viewer so he or she would feel invited to stay for a while in that space and be would be able to sense some sort of different reality or relive the memory.
